The purpose of this research paper is to find out if it will be realistic for me to pursue a career in fashion, if this is something worth doing. In order to find that out, I gathered the data for a period of two months. I looked into the following areas: 

       •    prices of raw materials
       •    interviews of people in the industry: wholesale retailers, other independent sellers (how to start a business)
       •    interview of people in the industry: frequent buyers (how much they are willing to pay, buying pattern)
       •    current trends in the fashion industry

I did not include any questions or research on the artistic process of designing original clothes, though. I wanted to concentrate on the first step towards my goal which is buying and selling.

People who are interested in pursuing the same business will benefit from this paper. The data in this paper will give them an idea as to how to go about starting a business in fashion.
